Creating the Perfect Yogurt Bowl

Yogurt bowls are a perfect breakfast to start the day. They are filling, delicious and extremely customisable.

Creating the Perfect Yogurt Bowl

Select your Favorite Plant-Based Yogurt

The base to any good yoghurt bowl is the yogurt. There is an infinite selection of plant-based yogurts on the market today (think coconut, soy, cashew, almond). Pick your favourite! When choosing a yogurt, it is best to pick a yogurt that is plain and unsweetened, this gives you the ability to sweeten the yogurt to your liking and add whatever flavors/toppings you prefer.

Add Chia Seeds

If you want to turn your yogurt bowl into a thick chia pudding, mix chia seeds into the yogurt and let them swell up and expand. Adding chia seeds is a good option if you want a more filling and satiating yogurt bowl. Chia seeds are a great source of plant-based protein, calcium, omega 3 & 6 essential fatty acids, iron and potassium. They are also a great source of fiber, which aids digestion and cleanses the colon.

Flavour the Yogurt

Flavour the yogurt with any of your favourite spices and tastes. Mix thoroughly so that all the flavors are evenly distributed.

Pure vanilla beans
Cinnamon
Pumpkin spice

Add Protein

To make your breakfast as satiating and filling as possible, it is a good idea to add a scoop of your favorite protein powder. Choose a simple and unsweetened protein powder.
