A decadent, luscious and rich hot chocolate (minus the dairy and refined sugars).

 
 

Produce

1 cup — Almond milk

1 cup — Coconut milk

2 tbsp — Raw cacao powder

2 tbsp — Pure maple syrup/ date syrup

1/2 tbsp — Vanilla extract

A pinch of — Sea salt

Specifications

Add all of the ingredients into a small saucepan over medium heat. Whisk the mixture until there are no longer any clumps. Keep the mixture under low-to-medium heat (the almond milk can easily burn) until the hot chocolate is warm (approximately 3 — 5 minutes). Serve as is or add any of your favourite toppings.
