May Favourites

Woman with Still Life (1944) — Henri Matisse. Henri Matisse is one of my favourite artists of all time. Best known for his use of expressive colours and form, his simplistic ink drawings are also lovely to look at. I recently got a print of this drawing hung up in my room and I can’t stop looking at it.

Sun Rays Red Napkin — La Veste. La Veste is an eclectic and unique fashion brand that makes pieces with a harmonious combination of colors, patterns and textures. They recently came out with a home dining collection, filled with beautiful tablecloths, napkins, placemats and coasters. I love the sun ray red napkin; it elevates any dining table from bland to interesting.

Breath of God Perfume — Lush. A blend of deep cedarwood, vetiver and neroli. Smells woody and smokey, with a hint of fruitiness and freshness. One of my absolute favourites!

Milk Detergent — DedCool. This is the best smelling detergent ever. With notes of bergamot, white musk and amber; it makes my clothes and sheets smell incredible. It’s also extremely gentle on the skin, environmentally conscious and 100% biodegradable!

Karma Solid Perfume — Lush. Rich and spicy, this solid perfume smells like patchouli, brazilian orange and siberian fir. I have it in my bag at all times and put it on my pulse points as I please.

Oyster Mushrooms. My favourite food at the moment is oyster mushrooms. They are extremely versatile and add great taste and texture to a dish. I love to roast them in the oven with some extra virgin olive oil, miso and salt until they become super crispy. I like to add them into my salad for extra crunch and flavour.

Racing Green Towel — Tekla Fabrics. With the warmer weather, I have started to go to the lake by my house for an afternoon swim. The Tekla towels are my favourite towels ever. They are extremely soft on the skin and are extra thick for maximum absorbency. Plus, they are woven from the highest quality organic cotton to ensure great function and long life.
